The Foundation for Environmental Education is located in Denmark, but this foundation is creating global opportunities for sustainability. They have five programs which include the Green Key, Learning about Forests, Blue Flag, Young Reporters, and Eco-Schools. The Green Key award is a voluntary label that focuses on tourism. The Learning about Forests program encourages people to explore the natural world with a hands-on approach. The Blue Flag program is all about, you guessed it, water! Moreover, the Blue Flag program clean coasts and accessible clean water for all. The Young Reporters program offers a platform for leaders to speak up about environmental issues. The Eco-Schools program involves lessons in the classroom about sustainability and encourages action within the community. There are so many ways to engage youth when it comes to environmental issues. This is one organization worth sharing and learning more about.
