Bay leaf

Hey, team.

Today we are diving into the world of bay leaves! Bay leaves are indigenous to the bordering countries of the Mediterranean. They are known to have a bitter taste. They are usually cooked whole (intact) with a dish (such as a stew) and then removed. Victorious Greek athletes would adorn a crown of bay leaves in ancient times. The crown was known as the Laurel Leaf Crown or Laurel Leaf Wreath. Enjoy clicking around.
